Underwriting/Pipeline Management Software
Outside of the industry standard (Argus), what (if any) software are y'all using to speed up underwriting?
We've been "using" RedIQ, put in quotes because it really hasn't been beneficial. Outside of high level pipeline management I've been able to manage everything in Excel much easier.
Anyone using Archer? If so, do you like it and how much are you spending?
Based on the most helpful WSO content, Excel remains a popular choice for underwriting and pipeline management due to its flexibility and customization capabilities. While Argus is the industry standard, some users have expressed frustration with its limitations and prefer to manage their models in Excel for greater control.
Regarding other software options:
RedIQ: As you mentioned, it hasn't been particularly beneficial for your needs. This sentiment aligns with some feedback from others who find it less effective for detailed underwriting tasks.
Archer: Unfortunately, there is no specific mention of Archer or its effectiveness in the WSO dataset provided. If you're considering it, it might be worth exploring user reviews or reaching out to peers in the industry for firsthand insights.
Other Tools: Some alternatives mentioned for property management, asset management, and financial analysis include:
If you're looking for a streamlined solution, Excel combined with these tools for specific tasks might be a practical approach.

Bump. Did you find anything here? I feel silly and disorganized using excel in 2025
Genuinely asking: why?

That's what I'm hearing as I ask around. They say salesforce does a good job of pulling in external data and organizing it. Sure, you can do this in power query, but it doesn't scale the same way I don't think
