Thanks guys for the help. Anyone have any more harsh yet constructive critiques?

I read that posting here would result in "some harsh criticism" and that this isn't for the "faint of heart." So guys, shoot that nasty criticism, and please try to make it constructive at the same time (eg. give examples of how it can be improved).

Best Response
  1. Get rid of your SAT II biology and history scores no one gives a flying fuck about those
  2. Just "2330" and "800" (also specify Math I / Math II)
  3. Expected graduation... when in 2012? Add the month
  4. Were you in S&T? Honestly a reader would barely be able to tell by your bullet points
  5. "Learned how to use market and earnings catalysts and to evaluate companies"? Awkward syntax and the first part is vague...
  6. How did you "lead" a team of three interns?
  7. What was the result of your stock pitch? Expound on your damn investment thesis
  8. Spring analyst thing looks dumb if you don't add more substance to it... if you can't spin anything just add it as a one-liner on the bottom. It distracts from your BB internship this summer and the company that you ran
  9. Running your own company is a BIG DEAL, especially if you have 30k topline in under 2 years (I'm assuming you turned a pretty healthy profit as well). Make it sound interesting, because right now I didn't even read the entire thing it's just boring as shit
  10. For the TD Ameritrade internship -- talk more about your model
  11. Alpha, alpha, alpha. Doesn't matter if you beat the market by 13% if you don't account for risk. Specify... 13% returns relative to the market or 1300 absolute basis points? More relevant than you think b/c I imagine the market went down over that time span
  12. Cut out some stuff from your high school store job so you can talk about your other points
  13. Add some stuff to interests so you don't seem like a damn robot

You should be in pretty good shape, you just need to sell yourself much better.

Good luck
