Junior at a Non-Target; Be critical, would appreciate the help
I go to a non-target school, play lacrosse, have a decent but not sufficient GPA. Tried to highlight what I could, although I am lacking in Internship experience currently. Thanks for the help...holla at me wit critiques.
lose the objective section and left-align your headings
hotmail, autoding
I take your word for it, but why is hotmail an autoding? As opposed to yahoo or gmail, or my school email?
kinda skimpy. Try to do a co-op while your in school to beef it up. Cold call and ask if they need free labor after class
Call up local PWM (including BB branches) and simeltaneously start networking with alums in whatever field you are interested in. Your present work experience (most important thing on a resume IMO) isn't going to make up for that gpa so you need to get some kind of "feeder" internship (hence pwm) that will help set you up serious IBD consideration, which will likely be at the MM or regional boutique level
Try to boost GPA while you still have a chance. Network your ass off. Get some really relevant extracurriculars. You need to start beefing up your CV from now on and keep working really hard for a few more years then try to get to a target B-school.
Most people will assume that Canada and Egypt are outside the U.S., no need to state it
Take classes over winter break. Improving your GPA is critical. Definitely reach out to alums and family friends, you never know where you might find a connection
Better yet, take classes now while you still have time over the summer
Align your dates to the right, each one is in a different place. I mean, seriously, if you can't even be bothered to write one page in MS Word decently how do you expect them to take you seriously and give you a job?
