You buffed up your experiences too much. Would be nice if you had like 3/4 IB internships and a few bullet points for each… not an essay because that shows you can’t grow or learn.

i know they seem buffed up but they were actually all things i did and can speak to. i do have other internships i can put in there but i would say this experience was the most substantial. also, it would be weird if i had the same number of bps for an internship that lasted 3 months as one that lasted about a year. do u think its inaccurate to write intern then given ive been there for a year? I also took the year out so thats kinda why ive gotten up to so much in the IB internship

Are you guys really building DCFs and other valuations for transaction work during your internships or is it some kind of exaggeration to sprinkle up your resume?

Intern in IB-M&A

dawg why you mad ash LMAOOO, like everyone embellishes on their resumes.  just assume the best mane

Don't you have any actual hobbies? Three out of four of your interests are essentially passive. I'd also tone down the obvious exaggerations in your transaction experience (as if interns can even have transaction experience in the proper sense - if you're not included in the WPL as an official member of the deal team, I wouldn't count it). People will see through it and you're opening yourself up to harder questioning/being grilled on specifics.

Honestly looks pretty good. Not a lot of whitespace and pretty standard formatting, so feedback is pretty nit-picky:

  1. you're british. lol.
  2. Why is BSc in parentheses? Only include acronyms, initialisms, and abbreviations in parentheses if you actually use them later. Your usage of BNPL later in the resume is a good example. Just do Bachelor of Science; Major in Economics.
  3. It's my opinion that if you have bold + colon you shouldn't also add a bullet point. This applies for both the education section and also the skills and interests section.
  4. i hate your non-usage of the oxford comma. bastard language.
  5. Are these two different internships? Or were you just on a team for a full year? If the former, split up into two separate years.
  6. Don't put (ongoing). It looks messy, and also, you're presently employed, so it's somewhat implied. Also, who cares if it's ongoing or not? The work you performed was in the past.
  7. What is a "$10M medical equipment manufacturer." Does the $10M refer to EV? Market Cap? Revenue? EBITDA?
  8. What is a "Cyber SaaS" company? It sounds made-up. Just say SaaS or Cybersecurity SaaS.
  9. I think, generally, your bullet points don't have enough numbers.
  10. $400,000 -> $400K
  11. Minimum viable product should be all lowercase. Also, same suggestion as BSc above. No point in putting a shortened version in parentheses if you don't use it later.
  12. It's kind of weird that you include a little blurb for all your experiences except for "Head Boy." Include a short description of whatever British stuff Head Boy entails.
  13. You're missing a comma in 1500+. Alternatively, make it 1.5K+. Same feedback for 2000+.
  14. I think languages should be separate from technical skills.
  15. aggressively british and funny interests lol. it's also sir christopher nolan to you.

try to condense most of your bullet points to one line, it's ok if some flow over to two lines but you shouldn't have all of them doing that (ai can help you w this). your interests are personable so they're fine but add 1-2 more and get rid of "(regular 10km runner)" to make space for the additional interests.

  1. There's a lot of white space in the second line of each bullet point. I recommend filling that up/ making it more concise/or combining bullet points together to maximize space. In a resume, it's a one-pager where you are attempting to sell yourself; hence, you should take up every bit of space while maintaining a clean format.
  2. Under the leadership and extracurriculars, just call it 'LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE'
  3. take out the proficiency level of arabic and french. put other skills to maximize that line adn hopefully get passed AI detector
  4. i also would take out ur education prior to LBS out, at this stage in 2025-2026 year that education is irrelevant to recruiters. you can incorporate a relevant courseload section right under LBS
