Acceptance--Courses after Graduation?
So maybe the answer is obvious, but I haven't thought of it this way. I'm finishing a double major and a minor in the four years I am at university. However, I have been playing around with the idea of possibly pursuing a graduate program in Economics.
After graduation, am I still able to take courses at my undergraduate institution? As in, I receive my diploma, then go back and take a Calculus class or two to supplement prereqs for applying?
Also, would these courses count towards an undergraduate GPA? I'm guessing no, given the status of 'cum laude' etc on the diploma. Ex. You have a 3.48 and it goes to 3.51 with these courses. That wouldn't change your diploma.
If anyone has feedback, it would be appreciated, thank you.
Also, my school holds the policy that you can not retake courses for a better grade. Any tips on getting around this to prove grasp of a course?
Don't know what school you go to, but as far as graduate-level economics, it's going to a take a lot more math than calculus.
Right; the sequence I still need is Calc III & Linear Algebra. I have taken Calc 1&2; though as a refresher, say two years down the road maybe Calc II would be a good idea, hence the follow-up with not being able to take courses again.
