Advice - Mathematics in finance
Hey guys, I am currently studying Economics at Sciences Po, and last year I have started studying mathematics in parallel (got 15 ects in Linear Algebra and 15 ects in Calculus). I now have the possibility to get a degree in Financial Mathematics alongside the one in Economics from Sciences Po, if I study for 2 more years.
Would this be a viable option? Also would it increase my chances of getting accepted into top tier B-Schools like HEC, ESSEC, Oxbridge, LSE, Bocconi?
For some more context, I am considering a career in PE or IB in Europe, preferably Paris.
THanks!
