How do I take full advantage of a target school?

Hello everyone,

I plan to double major with one of my majors. What recommendations would you have for an upcoming freshman to a target university? Are there any things that I should know? If you had the opportunity to re-do your finance career and start again at this school in NYC what would you do and what would you take advantage of?

Thank you guys!

Real advantage of a target school today is an easier path straight to the buyside. If you're shooting for banking, feels far less material these days.

Being in the city probably an incremental advantage too. If you are interested in the buyside, figure out the type of investing you want to do, and then do whatever you can to network your way into a relevant internships and ultimately a seat post-grad.
