Penn CAS for IB

Wondering if any current or former students have thoughts on the current environment for breaking into IB from the college. It seems like econ has some placement. Is it possible to get into the top club from CAS/how should I prepare this summer for that process?

Is the internal transfer possible? Thanks a lot for any insight

It’s a solid target. Probably on par with Columbia. You can definitely break in from CAS if u want. do the internal transfer to Wharton if u can tho. Bc it’s not that hard and will provide huge benefits down the line. But CAS is still fucking awesome

I got a dual degree in Wharton from CAS and now going to a top BB. Tbh going to wharton is like a small plus and so many CAS kids get the most covered jobs at wharton like Blackstone REPE, PJT RSSG, and countless EB’s and BB’s. It’s Penn — the best finance school in the world. If you work hard you can be among the best regardless if you’re from wharton or CAS
