Retake GMAT? - Looking to get an MSF

Looking to go for an MSF. What schools do I have a shot at with this background or should I retake and apply at a later round.

GMAT: 610 GPA; 3.8 Non-Target Finance/Econ 2 Year Relavent Internship 8 Month FT Analyst at PWM ...TIA

yeah definitely. Buy the manhattan gmat study guides and do lots of practice problems.

700+ will put you in a competetive position for the "Tier 1" msf schools, so definitely retake. Something like 720 would pretty much guarantee you acceptance into top schools. And don't even say 'non-target.' Msf programs really don't care as much as MBA. (And with your stats, you would be competetive for some really good bschools.)

 

Big 10 schools must be a real joke.

Yeah, take the GMAT more seriously and break 700+. MSF obviously cares more about quant than verba, so try to get 49+.
