Studying Abroad - Master's in Finace - Europe
Hi guys,
I'm Brazilian, 26, and I currently work in IB in Brazil, but I want to move abroad. I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French, and I'm also taking the Level 3 CFA exam in one month.
I'm thinking of doing a Master's (MiF) at a good foreign university after finishing the CFA program because it will provide me with the networking opportunities, visa support, and profile requirements needed to secure a position in other countries. I've been exploring Master's programs in Europe since those in the US are not financially viable for me. Some universities that really interested me are:
- University of Oxford
- The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)
- University of Cambridge
- Imperial College London
- INSEAD
- London Business School
- Bocconi
- HEC Paris
- Erasmus University Rotterdam
- University of Amsterdam
I listed them based on the order I found in QS's Top Universities ranking. Is this order accurate?
What about acceptance rates? Are they very difficult to get into?
The last two seem like very good options considering cost-effectiveness. Are they good enough to help me achieve my goal?
Finally, do you have any general advice for someone just starting to pursue the goal of studying and moving abroad?
All the ones you are targeting are good. Depends on what you want to do and where you want to work post-study ;)
Order is very inaccurate. Google "QS top master's in finance"
