UK unis

Hi!
Which of these school are the most prestigious and are well reputable in the finance world and or management consulting? Would you recommend any of them? Would you consider it fun studying there as well?
The unis:
King’s College London
University of Exeter
University of Warwick
University of Edinburgh
University of Bath
Are there any other that you would recommend except Oxbridge, LSE, Imperial?
What would you recommend from these in this list?

Imperial (world top 10) isn't even in the same league as Warwick mate ...

For banking/consulting I would say Oxbridge/LSE/Imperial >> UCL/Warwick >> Bristol/Durham/KCL/Nott

You are missing one of the best unis in the country, as well as a top finance target:

UCL University College London

Hello,

it appears that you are relatively new to WSO so I will recommend you use the search function as this question has been asked before in a relative sense but I will give you the benefit of doubt and offer you an answer that you may find useful.

Oxford, Cambridge, LSE and Imperial are all classed as the top-"target" universities. You may find these universities intellectually stimulating but less "fun" than the others, especially LSE and Imperial for the "fun" part.

Next are Warwick, UCL, Edinburgh, University College Dublin, Durham. Target universities with smart cohorts and decent lifestyles.

Following that in the tier below that are semi-targets e.g. Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Bristol, Exeter, KCL and (maybe) Leeds. These universities are good and are far more entertaining than those above in terms of nightlife and student life.

Do beware: Imperial is only a good university for STEM because that is its expertise, NOT its business school. The business school is a money-making prop with less credibility than LSE and LBS. Note I didn't put Oxbridge's business schools as there are suggestions that they're also not real business school pedigrees.

I hope that helps and that should be the final point on this tiered system for the forseeable future.
