Wharton Undergrad GPA Cutoffs for IB
I know it varies by banks, but what is a "good" or "impressive" Wharton undergrad GPA for elite boutiques/GS/MS or Bulge Bracket? Thanks!

You have to be Summa for IB? lol
To be “impressive” yea
A 3.9 or 4.0 at W is a lot easier than you would think. You just have to put in the work and you should get an A
Same as everywhere. Reality is 3.2 is the lowest you prolly wanna go. 3.5 is the ‘decent’ cutoff (maybe 3.6). Good places will look at 3.6/3.7 as min cutoff (other than ppl who network hard/ connections) and 3.8-4.0 will be in very good if not great standing to get 1st rounds without networking and shit like that (assuming finance experience and minimum boutique IB or PE internships) and should be much easier to get 1st rounds by NOT standing out in networking calls
Thanks for the insightful comment. My GPA is between 3.8-4.0 (on the higher side) with relevant internships (IB, PE, etc.). Is it actually very likely I can get first rounds at EBs without networking? I know BBs place a greater emphasis on networking because of the sheer number of applicants, but for EBs (RX groups especially since they're so small), do I still need to get 1-2 ppl to push my resume through or is talking to a few analysts/associates good enough to get the first round?
