Withdrawing and Resubmitting Application

So last week, I applied to a couple of the banks with apps open, but noticed that when I autofilled the application with my resume, it only showed the partial name of my school (e.g. it showed "University of California" instead of like UCLA, UC Berkeley, etc.). Should I either leave it as is, or should I withdraw and resubmit my application – and will it hurt my chances if I were to withdraw and resubmit?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, withdrawing and resubmitting your application is generally not recommended unless absolutely necessary. Minor details like the partial name of your school (e.g., "University of California" instead of specifying UCLA or UC Berkeley) are unlikely to be a dealbreaker for recruiters. Most banks will review your resume in detail, and the full name of your school will be clear there.

Withdrawing and resubmitting could potentially raise red flags or create confusion in the system, which might hurt your chances more than leaving the application as is. Instead, you could consider reaching out to the recruiting team or HR to clarify the issue and ensure they have the correct information. This approach shows initiative and professionalism without risking the withdrawal process.
