How does the experienced trader process work at other shops?
For those who are looking to lateral into another market-maker/prop shop how does the interview process kind of go for experienced traders? Will I be more-so judged based on my book P/L and direct contributions to my firm or am I going to be going through mental math doing 67x12 again and solving brainteasers for somewhere like Optiver. I am also curious how the experienced trader process goes in terms of being on a very prop-desk/MM on the sell-side and wanting to transition to Optiver or a counterparty.
