I want to develop as a trader in financial institutions, but I don’t know what is needed for this.

Hello, this is an English speaking forum, so don't judge me harshly for my bad grammar or the like. first, I would like to tell you a little about myself, so that it will be easier for you to answer my question, because I feel like an amateur (I think that people with experience in finance/fintech/banking, etc. have already answered similar questions more than once with this just like me 🙂). I’m 18, I just graduated from school last year, entered a supposedly prestigious university of economics in the capital of my country (now I live and study remotely abroad at the same university), entered the specialty “Digital technologies of financial markets” (then I went there on the eve of something interesting and I understand that studying is most often boring, but I didn’t think that there would be almost no subjects and topics related to my specialty even in the second semester), grades in general are above average in the group, I’m not in last place (I'm not focusing on this). Since the beginning of 2020, I myself have become interested in trading Forex and US stock indices. I have had some success in this and still do not lose my enthusiasm for doing this (I am glad that after so many years I am interested in this), I have a specific individual strategy for currency pairs and indices, which take into account volatility, time and news. At the same time, I am preparing to take the EILTS exam to test my English language level in order to enter a university abroad (in the EU). And so the question is: 1. What specialty would you recommend enrolling in so that amateur trading + a university diploma develops into something highly specialized and related to trading, or banking/something general. 2. What exactly do you recommend studying for progress in this industry? 3. This is no longer a question, but specifically what I would like to clarify. In my dreams, I wanted to see myself in some office of a prop company/fund and trade a lot of instruments, like all the beginners who had seen enough films like: “The big short”, “Margin call”, etc. The question is, does this still exist at least in tier-2 financial institutions (I could be wrong about how the industry is structured) or are most positions in such companies opened by robots? What type of traders is most popular? Quants? 4. Give some advice from yourself through the prism of experience.
