I had an interview with them... worst experience of an interview I've ever had. The job description and the job being interviewed for was totally different. It is a complete sales base job, you don't do any foreign exchange trading, you cold call for your own customers, you start off with no accounts, no client list. Not only was the job not what I expected it to be (money market hedging, exchange exposure, arbitrage opportunities), the interviewer mocked me and was completely disrespectful! Since it was a sales based job, he looked at my resume at LAUGHED at how I was a sales associate at a retail store. Not only did he laugh at my work experience from 5 years ago..... he ask questions that were open ended but the answer I gave was always wrong. A good example would be when he ask me to pitch him a sale of a blue pen, pretty common interview questions, after 5 of 6 steps to closed the sale he ask for a different colored pen... but he tells you your company only sells blue pens! I replied sorry if its a red pen you're looking for today, my company cannot provide you with that service, but with the great conversation we had earlier, if you are ever looking to buy blue pens here is my contact. The correct answer was to tell the prospective client we are developing red pens......... I hope this gives you an idea of how this company is not a place for someone interested in doing foreign exchange work.

and to top off what I said on top. My interviewer was late, and was in love with himself.. Do not let him mock you and make fun of you in your face. These are his exact words and actions, you think you can sell (smirks), what from your experience at RETAILER and just starts laughing.... I don't know what his issue was, huge waste of time

Chimp, 2 Sorry you feel that way. I just interviewed with them and they were awsome! I got interviewed by Arif Harji the Director of Business Development. He spent about 45 minutes with me and explained what the role was. I do agree that they are pretty intense over there but its a trading floor mentality. As far as I can see they are focused on customer service and efficiency....nothing wrong with that.

Do you guy's have a special department that browses internet for bad reviews of your company and then tries to restore the good image?

You killed the Greece spread goes up, spread goes down, from Wall Street they all play like a freak, Goldman Sachs 'o beat.

Haha! We absolutely do, Arti! There are so many terrible reviews of our company out there that it's a full-time job for us trying to deal with it all. However if we hire someone to do it we'll just fire them shortly for no valid reason. Pinching pennies, treating our employees like garbage and ripping off clients are how we do business best. We train our people to bait clients in with cheap exchange rates and then "fuck them". The person mentioned in your post thinks he is a mix of Gordon Gecko from Wall Street and Jim Young (Ben Affleck) from Boiler Room and yells and threatens to send his highly uncouth, spectacularly unkempt brother into the boardroom if you aren't meeting unrealistic goals. If you do make it past a few months without being unceremoniously fired , the stress will age you at an unprecedented rate. I'm 35 but with my dandruff and bad skin you would swear I was 55!
