Market Risk to Middle office?

Need advise

I am currently market risk associate and I want to get into front office (trading/sales), I applied for middle office role and immediately got reply from hiring recruiter for First round interview. My question is does moving to middle office helps getting into trading role 1 year or 2 year down the line?

What kind of middle office role is this? At my bank, the market risk team has more meaningful interactions with the desk than many of the teams that people deem as "middle office".

I've seen people move from market risk to the desk. Meanwhile, lots of the middle office teams were dead ends where the chance of moving to FO was very slim. Some of the guys in market risk knew their shit and had respect from the desk, as opposed to some middle office teams that were viewed just as support. But I guess I must be picturing some different roles than what you are classifying as "middle office"...
