Offer After Superday?

So I just had a superday for a 2023 S&T summer analyst position at BAML on Friday. Then on Monday (3 days after), I got a phone call from someone in HR and they said, "We just wanted to let you know that we changed our timeline and won't be able to let you know your status on your application for a couple of weeks. The people who interviewed you said good things about you, and if you get any other offers please let us know so we can expedite our decision."

Is this a good sign? Would I have just been ghosted if they didn't want me? I feel like if I was actually a candidate they were seriously considering then they would've let me know that I got the position and them saying that was the equivalent of saying, "We want to see how many people reject our offer before evaluating your candidacy."

Interesting, I would think that you would be next in line to receive an offer if one of the other candidates reneged. I got a call the next morning with an offer from bofa s&t. What office is this for?
