Sell side trading to buy side PM

How difficult or easy is it to move from a macro trading desk at a top BB (jpm/gs/ms) to a buyside trading role (ie PM at a hedge fund)? How does this compare to going from a MM prop shop (optiver/flow)? Are my chances better if I just dodge the sell side altogether and try to land something like a graduate role at a shop like Glencore? Thanks!
