SIG 2025 SA Thread
Wanted to put this out there. SIG (not discussing quant) has 2025 SA roles in buy-side research, sell-side research, macro, growth equity. Has anyone gotten the OA, interviewed, or have insight from past years about any of the above roles?

For those roles the OA is a 25 minute capital markets test which is all valuation and basic stat/probability questions.
did the OA, anyone heard back for an interview/next step?
Hey I just received that QA do you mind sharing what types of questions were on there? Totally understand if you cannot
u should be able to find some online. it’s mainly expected value, very basic options payout, then finance-y questions about like IPOs or trades. hard to prep tbh

How was it for macro? Was it more economics oriented questions? Been studying up on probabilities/stats for it

Has anyone done the Capital Markets OA and heard back?
Does anyone know if the OA is selective or if it means you are passed a screen? The job description said they are not sponsoring but I applied anyway and want to know if it's worth practicing and doing the OA as I'm on vacation and it's pretty suboptimal timing.
It just means u passed the screen- but if you do well on the OA (idk the threshold) you will get a phone interview 100%, its not too hard, time is the only hard part- basic dice/prob questions you can figure out even w no stats experience & general ipo/options knowledge
What does SIG stand for? Also do they have UK graduate roles?
