Adding current IB summer analyst section to resume
I am a current IB summer analyst. I just added the below section describing my current internship to my resume. If anyone had any comments on how to better phrase my deal experience or any other comments, would be rly appreciated. Thanks guys. (the see through bullets are meant to be indented)

I don't see the words "deal sleds" on here once. Pls fix and resubmit.
Is this 8 bullet points? Does it take up like half of the page or do they all fit on one line?
Initial reaction is that it looks quite lengthy (although you clearly have amazing experience) but interested to see other thoughts on this as I’ve been considering making my main sections longer as well.
I would suggest cutting "responsibilities included" from each line and just say "created", "coordinated", "updated", etc. This is a very minor thing, but I think it sounds stronger. Nice experience btw.
Solid experience and points but would consolidate and refine to not just pour out every deal you've been on, but to only include ones that really add value. You've literally listed 5, and my response (and I would think many peoples') is to literally glaze over them because it's just so dense. Also TBH as a Summer, it's unlikely you've had much depth on any of them (you might have! But I'm making a general assumption here) to necessitate listing so many.
TL;DR cut out the ones which are more marketing-ish/admin-related/doesn't demonstrate a different technical capacity than another one (ex. $60MM at-the-market-offering sounds like setting up the meeting room, coordinating calls, and putting together a gantt chart? don't get me wrong..legit tasks but not that accretive on a resume imo)
I actually consolidated it to 5 from 8.. these were the 5 where I felt I had a legitimate contribution. The problem is I don't really have much else to list for any of them (what I listed is everything I did), so would you suggest I just make the section shorter?
Congrats on the job but every bullet should be you solving an issue, some of these sound a bit more like bragging.
Do you have suggestions to make it more solving an issue? People aren't exactly dying for the summer intern's input on a deal team.. I basically just did exactly the things that I listed there (creating memos and PPT slides).
Semi related question, but is is generally a good idea to include a Selected Transaction section on your resume? If so would you disclose the size and parties involved in the deal or somehow try to keep it anonymous?
Adding Internship Experience to Resume (Originally Posted: 07/30/2018)
Hi,
I am currently a summer analyst at a small boutique investment banking firm, which primarily finances real estate acquisitions. Its a great experience, however most of my time is preparing pitch books for investors. Therefore, I am not doing much modeling or underwriting myself, but rather just putting it in the pitch book. Would anyone know a way to phrase it so I could make it look like I did a little more than just take information from excel and include it in a pitch book. The material which I've been working with varies from commercial and residential developments, redevelopment, and conversions. Also, I have been working indirectly with the underwriting and financial statements, such as sensitivity analyses, IRR models, ROE models, cash flow projections, sources and uses, and other typical things you'd find in an investment memoir.
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Done with the Internship, How to add it to my Resume (Originally Posted: 08/10/2012)
So like many others on here, I have finished my summer internship. And hopefully like many others on here, I felt it went well but I am still prepping my resume to test the waters (idk about an offer yet).
The question is how do I translate this summer into a few worthwhile lines on a resume that gets 30 seconds of viewing.
Some of the major things I did this summer: - due diligence for IPO - positioning a company for sale to financial buyers - plenty of decks prepping the team for meetings - plenty of pitchbooks - plenty of research
Of course I played a small role in broad perspective, but I was involved and I want to convey that I was involved and had learned a lot from each experience. Help with doing that?
How about writing these experiences down on your resume?
