Had a first round couple weeks back, waiting to hear back
Did you get an email to schedule that first round or did you have to check if and invite was posted on the portal? I have something that says “2021 Summer Analyst Internship - Investment Banking Group: Interview” then says “Thank you for interviewing for this position,” but I never interviewed for them lol Did I miss the interview invite or is this a glitch? I never got an email about an interview by the way

Has BNP officially started with regular first rounds?
imnt even sure, but i had first rounds 3 weeks back
did you go through a referral? And was it for the traditional IB team?

I applied about a month ago and my application is still on "Application Received"
i got dinged for the M&A team but all my other apps say the same
I applied for S&T and had my first round this week.
Applied in early July and still nothing
Applied for GFS and had my first round on Oct 27, then got invited to superday on Nov 12 - still waiting to hear back for superday though. Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back on superday?
Also got first round for GFS in October and had the super day a week and a half ago. When I emailed a day later they told me to wait two weeks so fingers crossed we'll know before Thanksgiving break. Change Management division had first rounds this past week and the one before that.
They just asked me to submit a writing sample this morning! Did you also get that??
I did not... I can see it going two ways for me. Perhaps they need that extra resource because there are razor thin margins of quality between you and other candidates and that may be their tiebreaker. For me, I could either be in the assured reject pile or assured accepted pile since I have not gotten an email like that as of posting. Thanks for the heads up btw.
PS. I'm a liberal arts major so not sure if that makes them trust my writing more than a finance major, just putting that out there.

Just got my offer! Offers for GFS should be coming in this week- best of luck
so it turns out we won't be hearing back before thanksgiving... but they did email me back and said the writing sample was the last stage. I'm guessing we'll hear back next week?
Would it be possible to get an offer one group and then ask to interview for other groups as those align more with my interests?

For what group? I had a SD last week with DCM and have yet to hear back

depends on the team. some teams are really fast and some take forever. group financial security took around 2.5 weeks
