Deutsche Bank First Round/Super Day

Hey WSO,

I recently was contacted to schedule interview with Deutsche Bank NY in the upcoming weeks. There is a first interview one day and then a final round the next day, which I am guessing is a super day. Can anyone provide any information or advice on what to expect here? Anyone know the process or give any advice on what to do?

Thanks, Michael Scarn, Threat Level Midnight.

From what I remember they get very technical. Best of luck man.

Don't just have the answers/equations memorized because they will ask you the logic behind things. They dig really deep into the fundamentals of finance that are behind every DCF, Comp, etc... And don't start freaking out if you miss one or give a weak answer (they allow some wiggle room).

Basically as you're going through and preparing ask yourself "Why?" at every point. Why use Beta in CAPM? Why subtract capital expenditures to Net Income for FCF? Obviously these ones aren't real stumpers but there are one or two they asked that I honestly had no idea and had to reason through.
