Evercore Rising Junior Diversity Scholarship 2017
Anyone here applied to the Evercore Rising Junior Diversity Scholarship this year?
If so, does anyone know when we will hear back? Also if anyone went through this process last year and could shed some light that would be great as well.

I was told by an alumn that resume reviewing is happening this week and interview invites should be out next week. Last year the entire diversity process was done within the month of August.
Thank you @koes000" do you know whether only candidates who are chosen to move forward with the process will be notified? I believe that is what they did last year?
Yup! If selected, we start interviewing and if not, we're rolled into the regular recruiting round without having to reapply.
@koes000" thanks for the insight! Is this scholarship the same as early resume drop recruiting? When I emailed HR, her automatic reply says the deadline is July 30 for early resume drops so I was wondering if they are the same opportunity.

my best guess is first rounds will be going out next week probably scheduled for the week after and superdays late August
spoke to someone yesterday. First rounds would be next week with superdays the week after. technicals in first round already

Doubt it. It is only a 30 min call so it should be more qualitative fit questions.

When is the superday?
My interviewer reached out to me directly for a first round phone interview. I spoke to those who did it the program this year from my school, and their first rounds were fairly technical.
How technical? Was it based off of resume experience or more so the technical guides?
I'm from a top undergrad b school and mine was almost entirely behavioral with a couple basic relative and intrinsic valuation questions
2 first rounds, fairly technical. superday week of 14th.
If we haven't heard anything yet, can we assume we didn't get it?

I'm a bit confused. A couple of my friends who did regular recruitment got emails. Do we get personal phone calls instead of emails?

Nothing really technical....maybe because I just had one. Another tmr, anybody knows when'd we hear back for superday? Does they give you a rejection if you can't move forward?

To be honest I don't know...my interview just reached me last Sunday night.
Mine were on the other end. 2 x 30min phone interviews with a good 80% of questions being technical and pretty advanced technicals at that. Supposed to hear back by end of week for superday

I heard back from my application through the Rising Junior Diversity program about a superday next week. Does anyone have any tips about how to prepare? I heard Evercore interviews were pretty easy in terms of technicals for Elite Boutiques, does anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance!
my first rounds were extremely technical. im guessing they took it light on u cause ur from a top target (im from a non-core). superday i would expect to be very technical as well
I'm not calling you a liar, but for everyone else reading, DeltaOneStrat is the only data point. That includes this thread, the EB recruiting thread, and people from my school who also interviewed. No one has heard back yet.
Edit: to clarify, it's entirely possibly that different schools handle their first rounds differently.

I think onedatastrat is in a unique position where he has an exploding offer. I think he may have been accelerated to be included in the FT superday on Monday so they could interview before offer explodes. Don't think any of the "regular" diversity applicants have heard back
^Agreed. Interviewed early last week and recruiter told me they'd reach back out in a week or two. Still haven't heard back.
Did an interview Thursday and asked when we would hear back and my interviewer said by the end of the weekend...

Kudos to you all for helping each other out. This is literally a zero sum game and you guys are competing with each other. If I was a rising junior and had an interview I would literally go on here and say "pretty easy, no technical questions whatsover, all behavioral." Just think about the fact that the kids on here are competing against you, and at the end of the day, all the positions are gonna be filled anyways, so theres no damage to trying to fuck someone over on here. haha but maybe I'm more cynical that you kids. I guess wedding invites are also a zero sum game. I guess the recent Analyst to Associate promote that got the invite fucked me over despite being just one year older than me. Whatever, it's a Jewish wedding anyways, most likely not an open bar

Got an invite also. Are only 6 people going to the superday since there were only 3 timeslots each day?

On Friday I was told they have 2 more superdays so we'll hear back earliest by Tuesday/Wednesday
