Forgotten Post - Email add-on that provides read receipt and viewing count
Hey Monkeys,
A forgotten memory somehow came back yesterday and I remembered once seeing someone post about a email "add-on" on some external service that let's you discreetly get a read receipt and how many times the recipient has read the email. Could anyone who knows what I'm talking about do me a huge favor and link that post? Thanks a lot, would greatly appreciate anyone willing to take the time.
SkoHawks, hey, look at the bright side, at least you didn't get a ton of monkey shit thrown at you...here is my best guess on threads that might be helpful:
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
Think there’s a way to attach “request read receipts” along with your emails when they are sent from Outlook. I’m sure you can figure out how to mechanically do this with a quick Google search.
That said, I would recommend you do not do this. Your recipient may be notified of the “read receipt” request (depending on his or her Outlook settings) and that can be incredibly off-putting from the recipient’s perspective, as it screams “desperate, impatient, and annoying college kid”.
Best advice is to just stay put and hold on. Knowing whether or not the email was read has absolutely no consequence and makes no difference to you.
Hey EBITDAN,
Thanks for the reply. I remember the original post mentioning this to be a third party app instead of the built-in Outlook read receipt. In addition to read receipt, it provide data feedback on how many times the message's been opened, how long it's been read, etc.
You got a good point. This is for something else, more or less data analysis for an entrepreneurial project.

I think that's the thread you're talking about
