Goldman Sachs Securities (Sales and Trading) Superday Aug. 20 - How to Prepare and What to Expect
Hey all,
Just got an email (and when I say just, I mean literally fifteen minutes ago) saying that I got a Superday with Goldman in NYC for Securities S&T. Honestly shocked that I got this given that prior I had only done the hirevue, and feel generally underqualified for the role. The email details that I'll be meeting with with 3 - 6 Equities and FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities) professionals in 20 minute interviews. It seems to be a super short process as they state in the email that it will begin around 4:20 and wrap up at 5:45.
I've never had a Superday anywhere before, and given that I've only got a little over a week to prepare, I am a bit nervous and need to start prep as soon as possible. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should prepare for? My S&T knowledge is pretty limited as I've been mostly doing PWM apps and sort of applied to this role on a whim.

When did you submit your application for GS Securities and did you rank this division as your top choice? Btw are you diversity/from a target?
I believe I did, yeah. And not diversity, not from a target either

Yeah, almost entirely behavioral. Only techincals were in the form of follow up questions
