So looking at one of last year's London Goldman SA WSO thread, it appears Goldman sent out Hire Views for securities in or before September. The first "I just got my Hire View" post for IBD pops up in mid Novemeber, which is not say people haven't or won't receive them earlier but it does suggest that even if we have the same opening date as America we are on a completely different recruitment timeline.

 

Don't first offers for BBs and EBs go out in September? (given that GS opens first, logically they would have given some offers in September). I know that last year someone received a hireview in early September/late August, but he went to an exclusive breakfast event so maybe that is why he was put on an accelerated timeline.
