I'm a pledge: do I put my frat on my resume?

I pledged last semester but wasn't initiated due to rona--initiation is postponed until next semester.

Should I list the fraternity on my resume as one of the student orgs I'm affiliated with, or should I leave it off? I don't want to misrepresent myself and have people assume I'm a brother, but I also want to include it on my resume because I've spent a lot of my time pledging.

No you're still not sh*t pledge, you haven't earned the right to wear those letters. Also pledging in the spring? Weak af bro

Since you're rushed to get it on there I'm assuming you're recruiting for IB rn? In all seriousness- if nationals would consider you a brother and you know rituals (such as the handshake), then I would put it on there. The only reason I say that knowing the rituals would be important is because you don't want to put it on your resume and then some MD finds out you're a brother and tries to do the handshake and you don't know it.... Rare for it to happen but that wouldn't look good.

Edit: I guess Covid takes away the possibility of the handshake happening...

Honestly, I'm not sure if nationals considers me a brother or not. The chapter definitely doesn't treat us as pledges anymore--we're kind of stuck in limbo. Thanks for your input.

I don't know all of the rituals because I haven't been fully initiated, but I know our verbal "handshake"--given how everything is virtual for the foreseeable future, that should be sufficient, right?
