RBC is massive.

I guess it's because their biggest presence is in Canada and most people posting about them here are from the US where they aren't literally everywhere.
Impossible is nothing.
Boutique banks tend to offer only advisory services, with very limited financing capabilities (if any). RBC is giant and offers a full suite of advisory and financing products and even tends to lead with their balance sheet in an effort to win advisory mandates. Maybe it’s not quite a legacy BB, but certainly up and coming and a huge player in the MM space. Not at all a boutique
