At my target, a lot of people were interviewed but only minorities(excluding Asians) ended up securing the offer

I think JPM has a thing where they hire Gays/Lesbians/Bi/Trans. Close your eyes and pick one.
They also have a sophomore program for their finance and audit departments or something like that... I know 2 sophomores both non-target that got it and then networked with bankers to land internships in NYC IBD for the next summer.
Best friend was definitely not a minority and he was in the program Freshman and Sophomore year but we are a target and he was an athlete. I think they take more minorities cause they end up applying because people think its just minorities and because they gear it a bit that way. But they'll take any talent as long as its a target school. It's tough to get into, I interviewed both my Freshman and Soph year and had no luck

Two classmates of mine (target school; think H/Y/P/S/M) got this internship my freshman year. One was white, other was indian, both were/are very bright with at least 3.7+...

I have been anticipating this internship opportunity since my senior year of high school. I diligently prepared my résumé throughout the first semester of university and applied as soon as the program was available at midnight on December 15th.
Each day I check the online application center hoping that it has been updated but it has yet to change; the deadline for submission was January 15th. Has anyone else heard anything regarding this program?
They won't look at applications before the deadline date unless you've applied through OCR. It's only been a few days, so it'll be a while until you get a response.
They emailed me the other day and told me that my resume is under review - i have been in correspondence with the HR director, though
I also applied to this, not holding my breath though. Will post if my status changes.
Any other non-diversity candidates?

It is targeted at URMs. JPM recruits at few target schools but you can also get in through applying online.
