What smaller pe funds (not the classic MF's) would you consider working for after 2-3 years of BB IB experience.
I want to work for a smaller but prestige PE shop in NY and wanted to ask what comes to mind.

If it's smaller it's more likely you're going to be silo'ed. I can think of two but I would check PEI 300:
Flexpoint Ford - FS
Siris - Tech
Kelso, CD&R(pretty big but not as big of a public profile as MFs), Searchlight, Gamut
just off the top of my head and only really have one summer of banking experience
props for honestly haha
haha thanks, too much BS from the anonymous posters
New Mountain Capital, Thomas H Lee, Lindsay Goldberg
THL is not in New York - it's in Boston.
Good point, thanks!
A few of these have already been hit on: New Mountain, American Securities, Veritas, Crestview, Searchlight, Kelso, KPS, Lindsay Goldberg, Odyssey, Oak Hill... I'm missing a ton.
Just to add on: Harvest Partners, L Catterton, Welsh Carson, Sycamore.
lol
Also GL getting in US PE from canada
