PIMCO 2019 Account Summer Analyst

Has anyone heard back/applied for this position? The original deadline was Oct 20 and campus recruiting sent out an email saying I'd heard back no more than 4 weeks after the deadline. I just looked at the app again and it now says "early process deadline Oct 20" and "standard process deadline Nov 24" Any insight as to why they changed? Possible lack of apps or just not good fits?

Seems like they're starting to review now - curious aswell why they extended the deadline, maybe lack of apps (got email Nov. 21 about the timeline and hearing back about first rounds in 4 weeks then super day in January). Wonder how the summer class will look since recruiting this season was so accelerated

Yeah I figured it was a lack of apps or lack of good apps. No idea though. I got the email, too. Just gotta wait and see. Recruiting accelerated for PIMCO or IB? PIMCO is pretty late.

Probably too late now, but I applied for the portfolio analyst role in October, did first and second round (superday) in December, and got offer results also in December.
