Rising College Freshman— looking to get into IB

Im currently a senior in high school, I will be attending NYU Stern in the fall (hopefully COVID-19 slows down by then).

I would greatly appreciate any advice for: 1) landing internships 2) networking 3) ****the process/"schedule" for IB recruitment. *****

***More particularly, can someone discuss the 3rd thing on the list ("schedule")??? - What should I be doing each year?— if broken down by season (spring/summer/fall) would be much appreciated!! - When should I be doing cold emails/calls? - Who are the best people to contact for cold emails and calls - ... stuff like that!

Thanks in advance!!
