Took a risk with recruiting, not sure it's going to pan out...

Hey guys,

Feeling pretty discouraged right now. Essentially, I interned at MM ibank in a regional city, received an exploding offer to go back FT. I ended up turning it down since I had networked quite a bit over the summer and had a couple (~5ish) final round interviews lined up with BB's, top boutiques and MM firms in the city where my family lives. I didn't want to renege out of fear of the potential consequences (couldn't get it extended).

At this point, I am listed as first alternate for one of the banks, waiting to hear back from another, and turned down from the others. No offers (yet), and I am starting to feel pretty dumb about my decision haha. I have another couple interviews with solid boutique banks, but hopefully that alternate slot pans out.

Not really sure what to do at this point, but I would appreciate any thoughts/advice you guys have.

Also, in the event that I end up completely jobless by, say late November, what should I do? I'm considering an MSF, and I think my chances are decent here (3.6 GPA at a target UG), but I haven't taken the GMAT yet... Thoughts welcome here too.

Spots pops up all the way throughout the schoolyear. Its just that its mainly boutiques.

Maybe do that for a year, then move on to greener pastures?
