*Early 2000's. '03 to be exact, one of the best draft class of all time. This might be my new favorite picture between LeBron in his all white second coming of Christ suit and Kirk Hinrich in the front row rocking just as baggy of a look as everyone else

How about you go lift OP? Just look at what others around you are wearing. No one really cares as long as you look good. Do not wear skinny jeans to an interview (wtf?). If anything, follow the saying "dress for the job you want to have" i.e. look at what your boss wears. Is he wearing skinny jeans? Probably not.

Swinging Through

It takes a certain body type and face shape to pull off a skinny tie without looking either too fashion forward/flashy or inappropriate (read as: douche). If you're really slim and have a long face with sharp features, go for it. It's about picking the right attire to suit your body type, not wearing something just because you like the look. Oh and remember that you (generally) can't put a dimple on a skinny tie.

Unless you work in venture capital like me (which you currently don't), then feel free to go nuts, you'll still be better dressed than 90% of the people you meet with lol
