No MBA, joined after a few years on the sellside doing credit research.
what is LL? And what is the work that you do, still research based or portfolio management?
I would think LL = leveraged loans
As other poster noted it refers to leveraged loans. Still research based, only the PM will do portfolio management work so effectively everyone below regardless of title functions as an Analyst that does research.
How do you feel about the industry outlook for credit investing? i am working in equities and sentiment seems to be quite negative, but my understanding is that credit has done a lot better (in terms of performance and flows)
Do you mind sharing rough AUM bucket (< or > $50bn)? How did your fund perform? Also has most of your comp progression so far been backloaded?
