portfolio management is a front-office P&L center responsible for managing a portfolio of credit assets for Barclays Capital. Portfolio assets are typically loans residing on the balance sheet and can include revolvers, term loans, letters of credit, and guarantees. Portfolio Management actively manages the credit risk embedded in the portfolio through loan sales, hedging, structured trades, and various other measures.
Securitized Products Portfolio Management (SPPM) is part of Portfolio Management and is responsible for managing a portfolio of securitized credit assets for Barclays as well as the operation of two special purpose financing vehicles.

Main Duties

* Overseeing the execution and ongoing Asset Management of loan facilities managed by SPPM
* Conducting ongoing analysis of existing transactions including benchmarking with term ABS bonds, tracking of performance, and trigger compliance
* Assisting with the closing/management of securitized transactions wherein Barclays acts as Agent, working closely with the Execution team and the Operations team and utilizing substantial discretion, flexibility and judgment given each deal has a different structure with various elements and tranches
* Assisting with the evaluation of proposed new transactions and renewal commitments including, but not limited to, pricing, structural features and related business case
* Preparation of Monthly Reports for ABCP investors and participation in follow-up investor calls and meetings
