Best Investment Manager/Asset Management Group for Markets Insight

What are the best investment managers and/or asset management groups that have the best market(s) insight each year, quarter, and month? I usually use GSAM, JPAM, and PNCIAM and have found them to be very good.

Here's how I bucket the following AM shops by research quality (3 tiers): 1 AQR Capital 1 GMO 1 Goldman Sachs 1 Greenline 2 Alliance Bernstein 2 Ashmore 2 BlackRock 2 DoubleLine 2 PIMCO In my experience - after 5+ years in the industry, most of the public research these shops publish is unoriginal. It's better for getting a sense of market consensus, rather than learning new ideas or testing your own.
