Does JPM sponsor internationals? Will I be able to get a summer internship?
This is what is written under their Private Bank internship description: "To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Likewise, JPMorgan Chase, will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT.)"
Based on the most helpful WSO content, JPMorgan Chase does not sponsor international students for their Private Bank internship program. The description you provided explicitly states that they do not offer any form of employment-based immigration sponsorship, including OPT or CPT. This means that unless you are already authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship, you would not be eligible for this program.
For summer internships in other divisions, JPMorgan's policies can vary. While some threads suggest that JPM has been open to hiring international students on OPT in certain cases, they have clearly indicated in other contexts that they do not sponsor H1B visas. It’s worth noting that sponsorship policies can differ across divisions and roles, so it’s always a good idea to confirm directly with the bank or through networking with current employees.

If you still have to ask after reading the description, JPM is not for you
The answer is, they don’t sponsor. They are literally saying they won’t provide any support for OPT / CPT and you need that for the summer internship.
