GPA Needed for FT

Hi all,

I am going to be a SA at a MM firm (in IB), M&A. Because of recruiting I dropped my GPA pretty bad from a 3.84 to a 3.5. I think I can get it up to a 3.6 maybe???? by full time recruiting. How bad will this f me if I want to switch firms / profession into an investing role (non PE) full time

If you are already struggling to juggle GPA and full time recruiting - do not add the CFA to your plate. Your GPA is generally fine if you keep it around where it's at - focus on being fantastic during your SA stint, polish your story for the next recruiting cycle, and that's that.
