GSAM Fundamental Equity 2023 SA

Hi, I’m a rising junior currently considering an offer with the GSAM Fundamental Equity team for summer 2023.

I’m very passionate about public markets investing. I want to eventually break into hedge funds, particularly a prestigious L/S pod shop, or distressed debt fund. How are exit opps into those fields? Is GSAM a prestigious shop, and how is the FE team there?
