Internship Summer 2023
I’m in a dilemma… I’m a rising senior in college and know I want to move to FL, specifically the St. Pete/Tampa area, after college to do wealth management. I have a great resume but come from a non-target school. I have secured an offer from a solid boutique wealth management firm in the Tampa area for next summer. Should I take that offer or try to land a wealth management related internship in a major city like DC, NYC, etc.
Thanks for any help. I’m a college kid trying to figure it all out so any comment is appreciated.
sillybanana02, pure crickets, that's where I come in. Any of these useful?

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
I believe you should take the offer. You want to move to Tampa and you have an offer there. Also, you can experience if you like the city, and if you do well in your internship you will probably get a return offer in the city you like.
