Investor Relations to AM

Hi! I have been talking with connections trying to pivot from my IR role at a Tech firm to AM. Do you have any recommendations for me as I build out my story or what thematic lines I could draw out while attempting to make the switch? For background; did a few months post grad at my family’s shop as an equity analyst covering tech. Wanted structured and Corp exposure so joined my current firm from there. Currently studying for L1 of CFA for this July. I have sample research reports and company models I made to supplement as well.

If you have any advice or experience here, it would be much appreciated.
