I would say yes...I know of a few people who did this. I would say it is possible without even going to grad school (as JPM has a decent policy of internal mobility as a lot of people I knew in JP PB eventually went to work in other parts of the firm). I would also say that JP investment management recruits (not as much as the IB side) at grad schools but most likely with a limited amount of opportunities. Getting a CFA would greatly help in trying to make the switch especially if you were able to get your CFA while at the PB and make the internal move.

 

I'm pretty sure JP investment management does not do formal on-campus recruiting at any grad school. Heck, I have not even seen them post a job on my school's job board, and I'm at an M7 mba program.
