MsF, pursuing CFA® , applying for admin assistant?

Pursuing a career in finance has not been an easy path! As an arrogant and ignorant undergrad at a non-target, I figured that finance success would come easy. I live in Fairfield County and I am applying to any and every opportunity to get my foot into the AM door. Am I just bitching too much and everyone here has gone through this starting their career?

Slight background

-MsF from maybe teir 5 school w/ 3.9 gpa
-Finance and Econ Undergard w/ honors from non-target
-2 years work as a sales assistant for retail financial advisor (Ser. 7 & 66)

Due to complete rejection, I have chosen to pursue the CFA® path. I'm desperate to get recognition that is lacking in the non-target education section of my resume. Can the CFA® help me in this sense? Should I continue to apply for these "homemaker" positions? I realize that my chances in AM for BB is extremely limited.

This thread is really depressing... but I wanted to come in here and wish you luck man. Keep up the search and maybe you'll come across something. What about your peers? Do you have a higher/lower GPA and are they seeing any success as well?
