Off Cycle or CFA during final year of BSc (Non Target)
As someone from London who doesn’t want to do a MSc but wants to get into IB/AM, would doing CFA in final year be worth it, or even try and get an off cycle at a boutique in BO, risk etc. Worried it’ll take too much time away from applying to Grad Schemes.
Coming into final year with a corp strat internship in IT & mortgage operations experience at a bank, what would be the best way to boost my chances at getting a front office grad scheme. 200+ apps, CFA 1 or more work experience? Would love to hear
why not apply to summers?
I already have an upcoming summer with S&P in Strategy & ops but it’s too late in the application cycle to get BB or MM IB/AM. Should be good experience, but not sure if it’s enough to leverage to IB
