PIMCO - Account Manager Comp/Progression?

I've searched through the forums but can't find anything on this. Does anyone know what PIMCO offers as a starting salary for MBA hires as Account Managers? They come to several campuses so the information can't be that opaque. What is their compensation structure for this level - does it include a bonus? What is a typical progression 3-5 years out?

Any insight as to what typical exit opps may be for the Account Manager in particular would be appreciated.

Not sure on starting salary or bonus percentage, as I'm not at the manager level at PIMCO.

Account Managers have the highest of the 'non-officer' titles at PIMCO - 'officers' being VP, SVP, EVP. Bonuses are less variable because of this, i.e. there's no equity-like participation in the firm's profits, which officers have some of and MDs have even more of.

Progression goes down three routes: - Become an account manager head for a region, channel, e.g. UK GWM. - Focus on business development in markets the firm wants to develop in, e.g. Netherlands, Nordics. - Move laterally into Product Strategy.

Anyone else have thoughts? I'm too interested, and I'm surprised it's so hard to get simple ballpark figures for this considering they recruit on campuses and have been for years - I feel like it shouldn't be so opaque as to what one makes at the MBA level in this role because it's somewhat standardized. And any info on exit opps from acct manager?

For what it's worth, I'm not sure I agree 100% on the post above mine, as I've met VPs etc who are still in the "Account Manager" group, I was under the impression Acct Management was the umbrella term for the sales/relationship management function at PIMCO and titles are just that within the role.

Could you clarify what the mid level role means? That's post mba right? Also, what do you mean for 200k after promotion?
