Pointers on how to sharpen my credit analysis skills

Hi there, new monkey here looking for some advice!

I've been working as a PM for a long-only manager on the public credit platform for the past few years. I've taken responsibility for the higher beta segment of the credit market that suits our investment guidelines (HY and financials) and am an analyst alongside being a PM for a number of SMAs.

As I'm planning my career, I've come to realize that in order to make the next step towards a bigger/more sophisticated platform I need to sharpen my credit analysis skills. What are some of the resources you would recommend for a credit analyst to work through (given a focus on HY credit)?

To anyone who has been on a similar path, what are some of things you did to widen your skillset?
