Seeking insights from interns/professionals

I am a second-year applied economics student at a target school in Canada. I have an opportunity to work for an SVP within a large asset management firm this summer; essentially he runs his own wealth management business through the bank and has around AUM around $350M.

Tomorrow, I will have lunch with him and I would love some feedback on key questions to ask him to show him I can work as an intern for him this summer.

Any feedback is appreciated -- thanks.

1) Ask him about his business, ask how he built it, what type of clients does he specialize working with and how he would like to see his business grow going forward.

2) Ask him what does he need help with right now and how you might be able to contribute to that.

3) Ask him what his long term plans are and if he might ever consider brining in a junior partner in the future.

4) Ask him how he views the wealth management industry right now and how it might change going forward.

Good luck!
