Separate what you think about the banks themselves from the jobs in front of you. CSAM is a top-tier CLO manager, pretty sure they are #2 in terms of overall CLO AUM. Personally I cannot speak to culture, but the fact that so many people are reaching out to you is not an indication of the "lack of prestige" or desperation on their part, but that they are invested in bringing on people they think will fit in well.
When it comes to bank prestige, there is not a direct correlation to AM "prestige", so its not fair to compare the two.
